The Extraordinary 2020 AWMC

The 2020 Advancing World Missions Conference (AWMC) has been as extraordinary as the year 2020 itself.
The Year started on a pleasant note until the Coronavirus pandemic shut the World down for about six months from March.
In the same vein, the #EndSars# protests would have partially affected the programme but for God’s intervention and the determination and commitment of participants.
Some participants had to trek some kilometers to get to the venue of the Medical Mission at Airport Road, Alakia and Fullstature Missions Church, Parliament Highway, Secretariat, Ibadan venue of the conference from Wednesday to Sunday.

Likewise, the conference recorded a lot of firsts. The conference was both 100% physical and virtual.
Some of the speakers, who in time past had travelled down to Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria venue of the conference, were connected online.

This year, the conference was devoided of crowd as many centres participated in the conference online.
For the first time, the conference had viewing centres in Kano, Akwa Ibom, Abeokuta and Lagos.
Morning and Evening plenaries featured worship, talks, panel discussions, breakout groups, interviews and prayer for the nations.
